The California Transportation Commission has unanimously approved the staff recommendations for the SB1 Trade Corridor Enhancement Program, the Solutions for Congested Corridors Program and the Local Partnership Program.  For District 2, that means less congestion during commute times on both I 5, and the long wait for soundwalls in the Pocket will soon be over!

“I have been working closely with neighbors, the Sacramento Transportation Authority, SACOG, and Caltrans for quite some time to make this happen”, said Supervisor Kennedy. “I am thrilled to see it finally coming to fruition and grateful for the support from all of the agencies involved.”
